⚾️ Marcelo Mayer, ‘21 first round pick, has never played in more then 77 games in a season or had more then 300 AB’s (both in ‘24) and ended the last two seasons on the IL and has now Missed the Red Sox Rookie Development Program due to illness. 🤕 The Pirates recognize a bargain when offered and make this trade. 🌷🌷 Cora wants to turn Mayer into a Utility Infielder, Breslow is smart enough to trade him before Cora ruins his value. 👍
