I like the trade for all parties. The White Sox add some pretty good prospects to their system, including 1 top 100 prospect (Taylor) and 1 pitching prospect that could be on the list within 1-2 years (Suarez). The Reds add a legit major leaguer to their outfield (Robert), with enough cash to make it work for their books. They also get a former top 50 prospect best suited to play 3B who needs a change of scenery (Mead). The Rays swap 6 years of Taylor for 5 years of McLain, at a cost of two players who don't figure into their future (Mead and Basabe) and a top pitching prospect the Rays can afford to part with (Suarez).
