Yes, I think of CES as 1B/DH, and as a RH batter would be of interest to Giants. Think Eldridge will actually be in the lineup by 2026, but I don’t worry about blocking issues. I also think of Arroyo as a potential 2b in the next year or two. Fitz is there now, but I actually think he could be one of the possible replacements for Ramos. And Wade could head out there if guys like Luciano and Matos don’t pan out. And the Reds get the thumper they need to complement EDLC and McClain. I worry he’ll never hit righties enough to sustain his value.
Arroyo will be playing major league ball sometime in '25. Ramos has only had 600 PA's in the bigs. I recently read where he has bat speed in the Top 15 of major leagues last year. I think he will mash RH and LH pitchers. Patience, give him some time.
