1Brewers improve in their weakest position. Red Sox drastically improve at defensive catching. In taking on the Hoskins contract, they could split Devers and Hoskins at 1B/DH and they can add Bregman at 3B. They get 2 right handed bats, don't block any young players, and get veteran leadership. They could still add Vlad Jr in 2026 if they buy out the mutual with Hoskins at $4M.
