Cleveland only does this trade IF they acquire Diego Cataya from the Dodgers and Phillips passes his medicals... Essentially the idea is the fact Cleveland has a full 40 man roster and acquiring Cartaya would cause them to trade someone... Seattle is looking for INF help and Dylan Moore is also a free agent after this season and Freeman can play just about anywhere defensively if given the time in RF/LF so he either takes 2B or becomes Moore's replacement...
