6We mistakenly had Garcia with 5 years of control instead of 4. Fixing now.
Cots has him at 5 years control. Contract selected mid-2023 and he spent the 2024 season with the big league club.

On a different note, it seems odd that the Nationals would trade away a good reliever with that much control, one who probably matches their next competitive window more than Lowe does, but maybe they have more moves coming.
I think we might see a quick free agent signing by the Rangers for more pitching
Hmmm... There is some confusion on the years of control with Garcia. Fangraphs shows 4; Spotrac and Baseball Reference show 5. We'll leave it as was here until further notice.
