I don't think this trade works for the Rays, who will not be playing for anything next year if they trade Diaz and B.Lowe. Leiter is a good reliever, but he's in arbitration already and the Rays should have a good Pen already. I don't think he works. Warren doesn't work. The Rays have a 6 man rotation already and a bunch of good SP options in AAA, including Boyle who they just traded for. Rice doesn't work because he's a lefty and plays the deepest position in the Rays system, which includes (after Diaz) Aranda (LHB), X.Isaac (LHB), T.Morgan (LHB), B.Seymour (LHB), and Will Simpson (RHB who they just acquired from the A's).
