3Brewers get a new SS and add some Pitching, send a message to the Division that they intend to contend. Rays keep their focus squarely on ‘28 and beyond.
Rays would never do this type of consolidation trade, but I'd be fine with it. Made is probably a 2B/3B and not a SS (at least for the Rays), but a fast athletic infielder with above average hit/power tools is a prospect I want to see the Rays try to acquire. That said, I suspect there is no chance the Brewers move him.
