Well that's good then. How ya liking the Yankees offseason so far? Yankees trending up, down or holding steady in your view?

I really like the addition of Fried, Williams to close of games will ease my heart rate, and cody should be really good in the bronx. I say just add a 1b and either a cheap 2nd baseman or alex bregman.

Yankees went to the WS last year and had one of the best records in baseball from game one on, so holding steady isn't exactly bad, but that's how I see their offseason. Fried is better than Cortes, but they also had similar results in 2024. Williams is better than Holmes, but not by a huge stretch. Bellinger should enjoy the short porch in RF, but he's a sizeable step down from Soto. Add it all up and the Yankees should be good in 2025, but they probably are at best holding steady. Improving 1B has to be their top priority for the rest of the offseason, as they were atrocious at 1B last year and would see the biggest gains from turning 1B into a team strength. Looking around the division though, the Yankees are having the best offseason, even with the loss of Soto.
