5Honest question, how well is Ben Brown recovering from his neck injury? This gets a down vote from the A's because they want to compete in 2025 and too much trade value is tied to Rojas... who won't help in that regard.
To answer your question Grove, Brown has been cleared for a normal offseason throwing schedule. I jump at this trade if I'm Cubs, even though I like all 3 going to the Sacramento A's.
Thanks for the info. And it's a great deal for the Cubs... I'm sure I've said this to you before but if this deal included Kevin Alcantara instead of Rojas I think Forst thinks hard about doing the deal. I don't think he trades anyone off the big league roster unless he's getting 2025 talent in return. I hate this path he's on but he seems committed to it.
