Mariners get the veteran RH 1B they’re seeking and an excellent defensive utility player, the Rays get a young Outfield prospect and add a LH RP to their pen
I would do this trade if I ran the Rays. I'm a huge fan of Celesten and want Walls to go bye-bye. Unfortunately, I doubt the Rays move Walls until C.Williams is called up.

Yea, I knew that, don’t know why my brain didn’t tell my fingers the right word to type! Could it have been a premonition? Switch hitting SS that just recently had surgery to repair a lingering hamate injury retuns to play CF?
Oh jeez…. I hadn’t heard about the hamate injury. Well, there goes his bat for the next 1-2 years. Maybe the Rays should wait to acquire him next year on the cheap.
