No interest in selling low on J.Lowe. Sorry.

Have you thought you might be overvalueing J Lowe? Lol he's had 2.5 seasons and was only good in one of those but not all star level so this might be his peak value unless he rebounds in 2025 but the way TB Matt Joyce's their LH OFers I don't have a lot of faith. Plus that's a pretty good return, that's 5 top 30, that's 4 top 11 prospects plus a really good pitching prospect, I like Kayfus as a LF and he'll be in AAA by the midway point, Brito is a hitting machine he's just blocked in Cleveland cause of his limited defense but I'd be fine starting 2025 with him in LF, they're both 55 hit tool which this team needs a lot more of with guys like Williams, Isaac, Taylor coming with big power but major strikeout concerns. I love everything I've read about Cozart, Doughty has the tools to be a #2 starter, him and Cozart both went in the top 50 of this past draft so it's like getting 2 extra first rounders really, Humphries was sick this past season and still did well and once he works on his change up a little he'll be a LHP with four 55 pitches to work with.

I’m not too worried about Josh’s 2024 season. He had a lot of little injuries last year and his mom was fighting for her life from brain cancer. The kid deserves a pass. I like Kayfus, Brito and Doughty, and don’t mind Cozart and Humphries, but none of them are can’t miss stars either. Kayfus might be the 3rd or 5th best outfield prospect with the Rays (after A.Smith and C.Simpson and maybe after Gillen and Guerrero as they move through the system). Brito profiles as a pure 2B, as I don’t think he has the arm strength and fielding skills necessary for other infield positions. Rays have a lot of guys who can play 2B. Long story short, this trade improves the Farm, but I don’t think it necessarily improves the Rays as none of the guys in the return would be front runners for starting positions down the road.
