I’m not against trading Seymour, though I think he will help the Rays in 2025 with his versatility of spot starts and multi inning relief games. I would argue for a pitching prospect in lieu of Ritter though. Rays have plenty of defense first SS in the system.

The only problem is Colorado doesn't really have many pitching prospects plus I'm really high on Ritter, I think he's a lot like Caballero where he's a late bloomer but I think he'll turn into a good player, he'll be hitting AAA this year so I think he'll be a really good utility player that could handle SS if something goes off course with Williams and somebody that if you needed to rush them to mlb it won't really matter cause he's an utility player compared to you wouldn't want to rush Williams up if that makes sense lol
They have some guys I’d be interested in. Guys like Sullivan, Mahoney, Hughes, Denton, etc….
With Sullivan and Hughes they'll both reach AAA this year and if I was Colorado I wouldn't give up either one for Seymour, Mahoney is the same way just a little further away cause of elbow surgery, Denton looks like maybe their future closr, if they were competitive this year and needed a fifth starter then maybe but I think those guys have a better upside and they have time for them to develop too, reason why I picked Montgomery and Ritter is cause they're both buried on the depth chart but could be role players for TB.
Ritter just seems like a waste to me. He would be behind Walls, Cabby, Basabe, C.Williams and Barrios as guys ticketed for or who can play SS.
