For the D-Backs, $20M in salary relief to play in free agency, more upside in Detmers than Montgomery, and a more balanced OF mix (previously overweight in lefties). For the Angels, a lefty OF who can relieve Trout in CF, and the middle of the order pop they're seeking at the infield corners. Short term SPs in a transition year toward Dana, Klassen, et al.
