The Cubs kick in $5 MM a year to send Bellinger to W. Sacramento. If Bellinger opts out of his '26 Player Option the buy-out is covered; if he opts in the $5 MM covers 20% of his salary. I feel like Blake Walston is on the outside looking in with AZ and could be a change o' scenery candidate for Chicago. Caleb Killian is a cheap arm to help restock the Diamondbacks bullpen. The A's give up no talent but are taking on $45 MM in 2025 salary commitments from two teams that would like a bit more payroll flexibility.
