I was a Drew Gilbert fan during his draft year, so I'd be willing to see what he could do going forward. If Brett Baty's defensive improvement is real then he's an interesting change-o-scenery type. But adding Gilbert and Baty leaves no need for Mauricio. The A's are giving 1st and 2nd dibs at SS and 2B to Wilson and Gelof, respectively. You only bring in Baty if you think he can stick at 3B and are willing to give him a large chunk of playing time. Down vote for the A's.
