1Jesus Luzardo is an interesting pitcher. His 12 starts in 2024 leave a lot to be desired for, but he can be a great third or fourth starter in a stacked rotation. The Marlins definitely get a really nice package from this trade, with Alcantara being a great majors-ready outfield prospect with a really high floor who's being blocked in the Cubs system, and Cristian Hernandez, who has a massive ceiling with great power and fielding. The Cubs kind of have to overpay a little here.
