1The Pirates MASSIVELY improve their 2 weakest positions, without spending much in cash and without spending much in young talent. It's their 3rd catcher, an underperforming 1st round pick, and an MLB ready SP with a low ceiling. The Rays are rebuilding in my scenario. Full rebuild. Everybody goes. If they win 50 games in 2025, it's 20 too many. The Rays get 2 former premier prospects that have fallen in expectations. Their possible catcher of the future, and the former 4th overall pick from 2 years ago. They also get a SP that's near MLB ready and a far off prospect.
