Down vote for the A's. I know Forst said he didn't want to trade Rooker but let's ignore that specifically and focus on the intent of what he's been saying: he wants the A's to be better in 2025. Not necessarily contenders but competitive. Lowder would make the A's rotation better... but none of the other pieces offered helps the A's in '25. Fraley is a platoon COF. Aguiar had TJS a month ago. Arroyo has barely played in AA and Confidan hasn't played above Low-A. Worse, Arroyo's bat projects best at SS and I think he can stick at the position... but the A's have Jacob Wilson at SS. The A's have a long term need at 3B and an immediate need to improve defensively in CF.
