This is obviously an overpay for Lowe but I also don’t know that this trade helps the Rays all that much beyond 2025. All depends on whether something has really clicked with Lukes. If his bat is legit, then this trade works for the Rays. Otherwise, the Rays are only adding (another) utility infielder and a platoon player at COF who can’t play CF.
