I would think the Sox would want Sproat included in this deal.

On paper it is a fair deal, but I doubt the Sox would accept it. Scott will be out for 2025 after TJ surgery. Gilbert is a solid prospect who is close to MLB ready. Rodriguez is getting rave reviews but is only 18. Jacob Reimer has some promise, but most likely is not going to make a major impact in the Majors., most likely a future journeyman. Robert and Crochet are going to be high injury risks. These are the Sox two biggest trade chips, they won't come cheap, despite their injury risks, Sox are going to want a big return.

I do not think ChiSox would take this trade. 1, they should be reluctant to package these two remaining trade chips. NO BARGAINS should be their motto. without Scott and Roberts in the deal, the Mets gain 42.2 while Chicago returns just 39.7 So Mets are well short of enough in return for Crochet. forget adding rehabbing Scott for Roberts. that is way way out of balance. Mets must eliminate Roberts and start over.
