5I don’t think the Rays will be making any short term focused trades this year. They did that last year (Cabby) to mixed results (ie: they still have a hole at SS).
I don't see Walls making the 2025 roster so Nacho would be the SS and Cabby would be the utility guy for now and if Williams is ready for 2026 then Nacho can battle it out for 2B but with his control I don't think it's a short term trade I could see him as part of the future too
I don't think Nacho is going to be all that different than Cabby when it's all said and done. The Rays have more than enough utility players and he would just be another one who is good in the field (but not good enough for SS) with a well below average bat. So that's why I call it a short-term trade.
Well i get that Alvarez is nacho type of player, lol that's all I got, that and I also think his value on here is way high too
