3If the Rays are in extreme cost cutting mode this Winter, then anything is possible (including this trade). Personally, I think Springs gets traded at the Deadline when he has recouped a lot of his trade value.
I would love to get Baty to try in LF but not at the cost of Springs, he has 3 yrs left at only $36M, i don't care what the site says he has a lot of value, T Walker is probably making more than that and he can't even make it as a 5th starter, plus TB doesn't usually do the one for one swap unless it's a player with lower value so if they move Springs it'd probably be for younger prospects IMO
Ps... is it weird that Mead and Baty's values are so far apart when they're both have a bunch of similarities and kinda are in the same limbo of their teams not showing a lot of faith in them?
