But they're shedding a lot of salary through expiring contracts or deals with team options that don't deserve to be exercised. Roberts is over-rated as a CF defender and can't stay healthy. I'm a believer in Ramos but I can't see why the White Sox give him up. Down vote for both.
I’d take the 27yr old Roberts for LF in Boston with his contract
Clearly I have less tolerance for time spent on the IL! What happens when Anthony and/or Campbell push for promotion?
Roberts only has 1yr left but with 2 team options. Be nice to open the season with him in LF & Anthony in AAA, see how the ‘25 season plays out. I think there is a very good chance Campbell opens the season in Boston at 2B.
