5How hot of a trade rumor will Luis Robert Jr. become now that Bob Nightengale suggests that budget cuts are due to “sustaining substantial losses in revenue” this year for the White Sox.
But they're shedding a lot of salary through expiring contracts or deals with team options that don't deserve to be exercised. Roberts is over-rated as a CF defender and can't stay healthy. I'm a believer in Ramos but I can't see why the White Sox give him up. Down vote for both.
I’d take the 27yr old Roberts for LF in Boston with his contract
Clearly I have less tolerance for time spent on the IL! What happens when Anthony and/or Campbell push for promotion?
Roberts only has 1yr left but with 2 team options. Be nice to open the season with him in LF & Anthony in AAA, see how the ‘25 season plays out. I think there is a very good chance Campbell opens the season in Boston at 2B.
