Obviously, not a serious trade proposal, but it will be interesting to see what happens to these two free agents in the offseason. Will Cubs offer Hendricks a one year deal at a reduced salary? He’s pitched a few good ballgames. I hope not. Not too big on nostalgia. But I wouldn’t mind if they went after Buehler, who could be an under the radar F A. He’s pitched better than the results. Cubs hammered him tonight. Mostly bad location. Long trip back from surgery. But he could be a steal.
