12And of course, to round out this year's deadline, we have the usual enormous overpay by A.J. Preller.
Pete Fairbanks is now worth Jackson Holliday. Step up Orioles!
Nice job by Miami
AJ has baseball-sized balls. Thumbs up for the Pods.
I like the all in, go for it mentality, after all they’re all just Suspects
No, Bendix has Marlin-sized balls. Snelling should have been more than enough to get the deal done. But as long as AJ keeps giving in, you might as well keep on asking. I agree with 69 that Preller is headed to the door, if the Padres don't get to WS. He was enabled by Peter Seidler, an old man who threw money at players like Bogaerts in an effort to win now, before he finally kicked the bucket. Now he has emptied the farm system with the exception of Salas. The way AJ negotiates, he wouldn't last a week as a used car salesman. Where do they find these morons?
Miami ecstatic at the return for rental Scott, while Padre fans shake their heads.
When Scott records the last out in game 7 of the World Series they’ll be shaking their heads up and down for Preller
LOL.That'll be true for sure.
He is consistent.
Wow! This is an insane amount to pay for Jason Adam and Tanner Scott.
This might be his last year he as the GM of the Padres.
