Hate to lose Triantos but Dominguez projects more power.

I know it would skew the system's current surplus value and make it seem unbalanced, but in reality, do you think Cubs would need to add a starting pitcher to make this deal instead of cash? Taillon, for example.

The cash represents the approximate remainder of what the Cubs owe Tauchman and Leiter, so it's already budgeted for this season. However, if I were the acquiring team, I would definitely consider starting Leiter. It's not like he's a flamethrower. He has several pitches, including a great splitter, good command, and mixes his pitches well, making his average fastball better play up. He could easily get thru a lineup 2-3 times. If Triantos does as well as I think he will, this would be a great deal for Yanks. Cubs need a thumper.
