It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was all the Red Sox did along with signing Rich Hill and maybe trading for James Paxton.
I’m getting the sense that with getting Cora signed, seemingly being the priority, that nothing has changed in Boston and it’s going to be another quiet and uneventful deadline
