Leiter struck out the side yesterday with his Bruce Sutter splitter. Major overpay by Cubs per Trade Board. Teel and Yorke, plus Mayer, make Grissom and Wong expendable. Cubs secure 2B in case they trade Hoerner and solve C for 2025 and beyond.

Teel, Mayer & Grissom make McGuire & Yorke expendable, but if you want to go big; Trevor Story makes Marcelo Mayer expendable.
