The Rays aren't interested in fair value. For them to give up on the season, it's because they've been blown away. If the MAriners want to salvage their season, they have to improve the offense. This does that, and adds an excellent reliever. The Rays have just added their future C, 2 excellent OF prospects, and their next RP converted to SP.
I guess this works. I’d rather have Celesten than Farmelo though.
