1ROFL.... How in the world does Morel still command $25.6MM trade value? My god! At some point performance has to matter, right? His hard hit rates and exit velocities don't trump a below league average bat (96 wRC+), atrocious defense, and negligible WAR (0.1 fWAR). Cubs fans have been trying to trade this guy for the better part of 2 years. Smart teams ain't paying anywhere near $25MM in trade value for him. Rojas seems fairly overvalued too. I know he's currently a top 100 prospect, but he's not gonna stay there once the 2024 draftees are added, certainly not with the year he's having. Rays say no.
