Paredes is the new 3B for the Royals, while M. Garcia can be an option for 2B after Lowe leaves, and they can figure it out with Caminero/Wallace down the road (Caminero SS?)

This trade doesn't really make any sense for TB, the one area they are deep in is young infielders, if they traded Paredes then 3B would go to Mead or Caminero not Garcia who's not very good, him and Wallace would probably be further down the depth chart behind guys like Taylor and Simon, same thing with a guy like Vaz would have guys like Caballero, Taylor, Simon, Basebe, etc ahead of him already, Jenson is the only one who makes any sense for them and truthfully for Paredes it would probably need to be Mitchell over Jenson, 25 yo 3B Allstars with 3.5 yrs of control left would require a package that would be a bit of an overpay.
1B- Mead 2B- Garcia SS- Caminero 3B- Wallace
Not sure what that means but TB has a top 100 prospect at every INF position with all of them about to be at AA/AAA plus Mead a former top 50 prospect. Diaz is at 1B with Isaac the future 1B, B Lowe and Caballero are at 2B with Taylor the future 2B, Walls is the SS with Williams the future SS, Mead would take over 3B until Caminero is ready cause JC isn't a SS, that's not counting guys like Aranda, Shenton, Simon, etc, if KC wanted Paredes their best bet would be to pair Mitchell with some of their high end pitching prospects.
CC has covered the details for why this trade doesn’t work for the Rays. I’ll just say that KC’s Farm isn’t good enough to get Paredes without Mitchell headlining the trade. No interest in Garcia by the way. Zip, zero, zilch.
