Yankees get much needed MLB depth. Eovaldi and D-Rob (Yanks in his case) have gotten it done on the big stage multiple times. Eovaldi has the vesting option (69 innings left), but not end of the world if that sticks. In offseason NY trades Nestor for some salary relief. Robertson straight up is a FA. Rangers retool a bit and get a guy in Carr who can work with Maddux and that pitching development area. Marlins WILL trade Scott. Just a matter on who has the best package. Neely can pitch this year in their bullpen and Mayea is a toolsy OF who is very talented. After these two trades (see other trade with San Francisco and the Reds alongside this one) and assuming Stanton is back, but Schmidt, Effross, Dominguez, Rizzo and Hamilton aren’t back the Yanks playoff roster hopefully would be: 2B-India-R RF-Soto-L CF-Judge-R 3B-Chapman-R 1B-Rice-L DH-Stanton-R LF-Wade-L (also backup 1B-Verdugo, Wade, Rice all lefties-play best 2/3) C-Trevino-R SS-Volpe-R Bench: C-Wells-L OF-Verdugo-L OF-Grisham-L (Defense only) 1B/3B-Lemahieu-R SS/IF-Berti-R Pitching: Starters: SP-Cole-R SP-Eovaldi-R SP-Rodon-L SP-Stroman-R Long Men: P-Cortes-L P-Gil-R Bullpen: CL-Holmes (or by situation)-R SU-Weaver-R SU-Scott-L SU-Rogers-L SU-Robertson-R P-Kahnle-R
