1Yankees get the best player in the deal. Marte as the ideal leadoff hitter in front of Soto/Judge. Torres/Bell more of an expiring salary swap than anything. D-Backs get the best prospect in the trade as they retool. One of Dru Jones/Spencer Jones/McCarthy should work out to go alongside Carroll long term. Chisholm can go back to 2nd or if Lawler is ready then be an athletic centerfielder. Additionally they get a future closer once Seawald leaves. Marlins retool in a big way with a potential SS (Arias) and catcher (Ramirez) of the future. I know the value doesn’t match up right, but I believe that Chisholm is a bit overvalued. Plus Schmidt who is a #2 starter on a good playoff team.
