3No disrespect to the trade. The trade is actually really good and I could see it. I'm a Cubs fan and Hoerner is literally the one player I wouldn't want them trading though. Plus, Rushing is great but I think Diego Cartaya would be needed to get this done irl because he's closer to being MLB ready and more developed behind the plate.

Hoerner is an awesome player and a fan favorite. He’s not at the height of his value which is 4-5 WAR/season. It would be fun to see Triantos and Shaw battle it out for 2B in spring training. Maybe the Cubs can trade from a position of depth?
That's the interesting thing with the Cubs right now. They have a bunch of great prospects but they have no where to put them. Bush's best position is 2B also. They can't get rid of Swanson, Morel, or Suzuki and the later two should only be a DH. So have great prospects with no where to put them and they have no one to play the corner infields or catcher. It'll be interesting to see what they do at the deadline and where they go in the off season.
