In this one, Cubs go over salary cap for a quick retool, with eye on 2025. Cubs most obvious need is for some star players. Maybe some Diamondbacks fan can answer the question. What’s the deal with Carroll? Last year, it was impossible to get a pitch past him. Inquiring minds want to know.
