3Soriano obviously the headliner to provide rotation depth. Adell could use a change of scenery and would fit in as a 4th outfielder/platoon vs LHP (Adell is surprisingly adequate vs LHP), and reclamation project. Padres need good platoon options as they're bottom 3rd in league OPS vs LHP. Mazur is a plus control pitcher who was just pushed a bit too early, but will be serviceable in time. Pauley has great plate discipline, but again pushed too early. Angels can give him the everyday reps and runway to become a good MLB player.
Padres would be foolish to sell low on Pauly and Mazur. Downvote for this trade proposal.
I keep track of how the Padres prospects are doing on a pretty regular basis. None of the Padres prospects are lighting the world on fire right now, so they're going to be selling low on someone.
