Cubs get two good pitching prospects and a high ceiling outfielder. Dodgers get All star gold glover Nico. Cubs are overselling a little based off current performances. Solid deal for everybody.
Although I like the trade, I'm just not sure if the Cubs would really trade away Hoerner. Especially when the Cubs were willing to give away Jackson Ferris to get Michael Bush in the offseason. The trade is good though!

You can never be too sure what Jed would do lol. But I could see it being a smokescreen. "Oh, they're hearing offers on Nico, clearly they're selling" then they sneak in and steal players since they are going to buy.
