1Sam Haggerty is a utility player that the Mets gave to the Mariners. Haggerty also has speed and he could help the Mets fill in for players that need days off. He stole 13 bases in 2022. In exchange the M's would get Simon Juan and Jose Butto. While Simon Juan is only 17 years old and he isn't close to making the Majors as his ETA says 2028, he batted .219 in 53 games and had 44 hits. Jose Butto is the Mets 15th best prospect by MLB.com and while he did not have a good start in the Majors, he posted a 2.45 ERA in 8 games in Triple A with 9 walks and 30 strikeouts.
