How many innings will Garrett Crochet have left in him for the final 2+ months of the season? He’s pitched 6 innings in 2020, 54 innings in 2021, 0 innings in 2022, 12 innings in 2023. He’s already at 82 innings in ‘24. Will he even be available to pitch come September, come October?
It's certainly the kind of splash Preller makes and the return to the Chisox is in line with their agenda. I think it might work.
