Gotta love it for both sides. Gives the diamondbacks more of a retool without having to wait for an entire “rebuild” and you have a bunch of quality players with lots of control. For the cubs you have a potential Allstar in the making. Cubs have the prospects and Arizona can use all the depth they can get.
Too much of an overpay for Cubs.

Gotta over pay to get quality back my guy. Fair equal trades don’t exist.. someone has to take an L and that’s fine. Either it’s worth it now or later. Amaya is doing terrible and the cubs have a catcher in their top 10. Morell can be good but he definitely can’t play 3rd anymore honestly not a bad trade at all. Corbin Carrol alone has more upside than everyone on this trade..
