2Bobby Dalbec would actually be a very significant upgrade over Elehuris Montero for the Rockies, especially based on career hitting stats. Cal Quantrill's salary would be better spent saving for future years' payrolls in Colorado. Connor Kaiser would be worth a roll of the dice at SS for Boston. Even if he were to hit .200/.300/.300, if he could play league-average SS he'd have a one-year job with the Red Sox.
I’d still rather give Montero a chance over Dalbec, Dom Smith, Garrett Cooper, Romy Gonzalez
