7Up vote for Oakland. I think the A's would seriously consider this.
Interesting one for one trade idea. But don't think A's would want to trade Miller this soon, Also, Shaw's best position is second base which is already covered in Oakland.
Unless this proposal is a deadline deal with the Cubs leading their division and looking like serious contenders and Miller is pitching at an All Star level, I would think that the Cubs would have no interest. And I think the A’s would be all over this if it was offered today, at the deadline or next off season. Shaw could probably play anywhere but Catcher & Pitcher and he hits everything, sprays the ball all over the field and with power.

Agree. Shaw is the overall best hitting prospect in MiLB, imo.
The Cubs just wouldn’t make this trade. Way too much risk for a pitcher who throws as hard as Miller does, especially with the amount of TJS this year. And the Cubs aren’t going to trade a guy they just got in the draft that is already ranked so high and knocking on the door.
I know he's playing 3B, I thought he was getting OK reviews at the hot corner.
