Arias and Hampton are both Top 100 ranked prospects by: Fangraphs, ESPN, MLB & BA. Arias is the Yankees #3 ranked prospect and Hampton is their #4 ranked prospect.

Brewers refuse instantly. Milwaukee is still looking to compete in the NL Central. They don't care where the prospects are listed if they aren't going to get immediate help. Starting pitching is their major weakness. Hampton and Gomez isn't enough pitching to entice Milwaukee to trade their top pitcher. Once they got Ortiz they don't need Peraza. The Brewers don't want teenagers in any trade.

I'll assume you are speaking for yourself and not the Brewers GM. Holding on to Peralta or any player is always an option they or any team have. For the record though right now Fangraphs has them as the 3rd best team in the NL C and not much better then the projected 4th place Reds.

Last year everybody had the Cardinals as the preseason favorite.

The brewers are not accepting relievers, AAAA players and high risk teenagers for a very good controllable #2, they aren't trading him for anything less then top tier talent, they got way more for Burnes then this
