Here are the 2 names that have been reported as trade candidates for the Sox. The Padres can view the money as paying down KJ's salary and the Sox (who said they would not pay down his salary) can look at it as SD doesn't have to pay the 12.8 mil this year as part of the Hosmer trade. I didn't know which SP to pick as Fangraphs rates Snelling at 40+ and Lesko at 55, but MLB says Snelling is their best pitching prospect...... 2 very different opinions. So, I'm curious as how the Padre fans see the 2 prospects.
