3Phillies finally get a solid hard throwing backend arm that they have been looking for this winter . three years of control and likely to get 3+ million in arb this season. Rays get a possible starter/bullpen arm in almost MLB ready McGarry and a 22 year old local talent who is developing as an OF'er with speed and improving power.
I'd be happy just to get McGarry for Adam, with his stuff and the Rays ability to iron out pitchers he could end up being really good for TB.
No interest in Rincones. MLB gives him a 30 grade in speed, a 40 grade in arm strength and 45 grade in fielding. That's basically the profile of a DH, but without the bat. No thanks.
