3With the addition of Ortiz the Brewers don't need Amaya. They have many options at 2B including their own Black among others.

Ortiz is not a sure thing. I'd imagine having depth at SS would be a good thing.
They still have Turang, and even Montestario. No use in grabbing a light hitting glove first SS that wouldn’t be able to play 3B/DH if need be
