6I suppose this is possible if the Rays don't trade H.Ramirez, but personally I am expecting Ramirez to be traded and Aranda to take his roster spot.
I think Cleveland would definitely think long and hard on this one... Aranda has great minor league numbers... The only reason why Cleveland doesn't take this one... Is because they extend Naylor and Manzardo gets the 1B/DH spot... I don't trust Aranda's fielding...
Aranda has an interesting bat, but where would he play in Cleveland with the infield and DH spots covered?
Cleveland already has Kyle Manzardo to add in for 1B/DH and drafted a rule 5 player Deyvison De Los Santos that covers 3B/1B that they have to carry on the roster. Again, where are the at bats for Aranda?
His bat provides more to Cleveland than TB Play him at DH and CIF, let JRam & Naylor get time off to allow Aranda some PT there
He's not wrong, right now with him being a lefty and not a strong fielder, it's going to be hard in Cleveland to get him ABs... Manzardo and Naylor are supposed to he 1B/DH... Then you have De Los Santos and Fry hitting from the right side trying to get a bench spot... Fry can play 5 positions, including catcher plus hits lefties fairly well. Aranda doesn't have the talent/upside of Manzardo, so I don't mind this deal, but I don't expect Cleveland to actually like it...
