3Pages would be able to bolster the Brewers OF as early as this season, while Rushing's timeline roughly coincides with Hoskins two-year deal (probably can makes his debut in 2025 and is ready for full-time action in 2026). Swapping either for Gavin Stone would also work if the Brewers want to prioritize SP depth. The Dodgers would likely need to make a secondary deal to trade Gavin Lux, since Adames would obviously take his position at SS. Lux no longer seems like a fit for the Brewers given their acquisition of Ortiz.
Brewers pass in a second. The last positions they want in a trade is outfielders and catchers. Milwaukee can't afford to give up Williams for position players.
To be honest, Rushing is probably a 1B long term. I figured his progression would coincide nicely with the two year Hoskins contract. I'm a bit surprised the Brewers wouldn't want OF help considering that the current OF depth chart looks quite weak, but the Dodgers have no shortage of strong SP prospects if that's what the Brewers would rather target.
