4I feel like if you are Cleveland you have to really think about this one, If you believe you have someone that can replace Kwan in the leadoff spot... I just don't think they do...
I like to see Miller in Cleveland. I just don't see how their offense can stand going from Kwan to Canzone.
I agree with TA on this one. There isn't enough coming to Cleveland offensively speaking to motivate them to do this.
It just comes down to where Cleveland sees itself over the next few years. This would likely weaken them in 2024, but as a pure bat it wouldn’t be that surprising to see Canzone have a higher wRC+ as he could hit 25+ home runs (he just isn’t anywhere close to the defender Kwan is). However, Cleveland gets a top 100 prospect, a solid bat to replace with now who has 6 years of control and Miller. That’d be quite a bit for Kwan who hits for pretty much no power.
